What is born from between the visible?

How do we define emptiness and form, in other words space? In what way is nothingness an essencial element for creation to manifest itself into physical presence?

Incarnation of the intangible is the essential casualty in the work of Austrian transmedial artist and musician Anna Gabriele.
Inspired by movements such as abstraction, mono-ha, gutai and surrealism, concepts of perception, identity, existence and transformation are explored through a wide range of artistic expression and media encompassing painting, installation art, photography, video and performance as well as live composition and songwriting.

Anna Gabriele was born in Vienna, has lived and studied in Tokyo, Japan between 2013-2014 and 2015-2020, and lived in Taipei, Taiwan between 2020-2022. Their academic background includes studying sculpture and multimedia art with Erwin Wurm at University of Applied Arts Vienna, and oil painting master cost with post-mono ha artist Toyomi hoshina. Currently based in Vienna, Anna Gabriele is active as a musician and fine artist in Europe and Asia alike.
